Saddlers man charged with robbery of Fraites Bakery Bus

Basseterre, St. Kitts-A young man in his mid 20’s has been arrested and charged for the robbery of Fraites Bakery bus last Wednesday.

According to a police press statement Javed ‘Ooze’ Daniel of Saddlers Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for offence of robbery, but the Observer understands that the arrest was in relation to the robbery of Fraites Bakery Bus in the early hours of October 19.

Observer understands that Daniel was also shot in the incident and made his way to Cayon- where he sometimes resides- and visited the police station and informed the police that he was shot by masked men in the Whites Mountain area of Cayon.

Reports indicated that he was taken to the JNF Hospital for treatment.

Last Wednesday while doing a daily delivery routine mask men approached the delivery vehicle at around 4:00 am and demanded money and successfully escaped with a bag containing money the second armed robbery of the bakery following the robbery of Roger Fraites in his office less than a week before.
